Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program of key Canadian province Saskatchewan invites the people willing to settle in Saskatchewan and actually make a contribution. It’s not like the regular federal draws. Here, the province looks for skilled workers, graduates, and business folks whose experience and skills kind of match what Saskatchewan really needs at the moment. If you get picked, you can then apply for permanent residence through IRCC. Generally, the key aspects, such as, work experience, education, skills, and the province’s current labour market needs remain key factors when it comes to meeting the SINP Eligibility criteria.

Things to Know Before Applying

Jobs in Demand

If you’re thinking about SINP, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind (most applicants overlook these at first). First up, jobs in demand – Saskatchewan updates the list often, so having experience in one of these roles usually gives you a better shot. It’s not a guarantee, but it definitely helps.

Points System

Then there’s the points system. Basically, you get points for your age, your education, the kind of work experience you have, how good your language skills are, and whether you have any connection to the province. (You’ll see this is why some candidates score higher than others.)

Fees

And don’t forget fees – some streams need a provincial fee, others don’t, and on top of that, federal PR fees are separate. So it’s a good idea to know exactly what applies to you before spending time on an application.
