This program does not require a connection to Canada, making it an ideal immigration option for foreign citizens living outside of Canada. Federal Skilled Trades ,To be eligible for the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST), candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience in a skilled trade within the last five years. Additionally, candidates may be required to have trade certificates issued by a Canadian province or territory. To be eligible, you must meet all the minimum requirements for your skilled trades work experience,job offer or certificate of qualification and language ability. The FSTP is designed for individuals who have a job offer or a certificate of qualification in a skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial authority.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an economic immigration program that requires work experience in Canada. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months of full-time work experience in a skilled occupation in Canada within the last 3 years. The CEC Express Entry program is a popular choice for foreign workers who have accumulated work experience in Canada and international students who have found employment in Canada after graduation, all of whom aspire to fulfill their Canadian immigration dreams. This program is not suitable for foreign nationals without any prior work experience in Canada

There are numerous Provincial Nominee Programs offered by Canada’s 10 provinces and three territories. Each PNP program has its own specific eligibility criteria and processing times. Many PNPs require a connection to the province to apply for nomination. However, there are also some programs that invite foreign candidates based solely on their ability to meet the province’s labor market needs.

If you have managerial experience or own your own business, the easiest way to work and reside in Canada may be through a federal or provincial business immigration program. The federal government offers immigration programs for individuals planning to be self-employed or start a business in Canada through the Self-Employed or Start-Up Visa (SUV) programs.
